Description

Although the field of psychology has traditionally aimed to “fix what’s wrong,” the newer sub-field of positive psychology instead helps us to “build what’s strong.”

It was almost 10 years ago that I was first exposed to positive psychology and began using it in my clinical work. I immediately felt invigorated and energized, and quickly saw my skills expand and transform in ways I could not have imagined. I’m excited to share with you some of the latest developments in this approach to therapy, and I am confident that you’ll find them as clinically beneficial and worthwhile as I have.

In this experiential seminar, you’ll learn about the nature of happiness, and discover how positive psychology can help us to increase happiness both in ourselves and in our clients in a powerful way. You’ll be trained in 7 scientifically-proven principles for lasting well-being, backed by years of research.

Finally, you’ll be taught over 35 empirically-validated interventions to boost happiness in yourself and your clients.

Drawing from positive psychology, mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, and cutting-edge neuroscience, this seminar will teach you the latest in the field of happiness and provide you with the tools necessary to enhance your clinical practice.

You will learn how to apply tangible and concrete tools to clients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and a host of other difficulties. Through discussion, lecture, clinical vignettes, and small group work, you will learn to harness these breakthrough findings and transform your clinical work.
